Welcome
The emphasis of our Life-Long Program, which is comprised of Pre-K thru 11th grade, is a family/church partnership. Families, catechists and our parish works together to promote a life long relationship with God our Father. We learn about our Catholic Faith and apply it to our daily lives through prayer, worship and community outreach. Seasonal prayer services are scheduled throughout the year to provide opportunities to come together as one voice. The curriculum is as follows: Grades Pre-K thru 8 are using the "Blest are We" series.
- Pre-K/K The Stories of God's Love
- Grade 1 God is Good
- Grade 2 Mass
- Grade 3 Church
- Grade 4 Commandments/Beatitudes
- Grade 5 Sacraments
- Grade 6 Old Testament
- Grade 7 The Story of Jesus
- Grade 8 Church History
Grade 9 thru 11 are using St. Mary's Press, The Catholic Faith Hand Book and The Catholic Youth Bible:
- Grade 9 Morality
- Grade 10 Creed
- Grade 11 Liturgy, Sacraments and Prayer
Sacramental preparation takes place in grade 2 (Reconciliation and Eucharist) and grade 11 (Confirmation). Those who are in grades 3 thru 11 who need Baptism, Reconciliation and Eucharist is a two year process. Confirmation is a three-year process.
